DIY Rustic Farm Stand Hanging Sign

Growing up in the Hudson Valley, I’ve always loved fall — watching the leaves change colors then crunching them on the ground, seeing farm stands fill with pumpkins and apples, and visiting hayrides and haunted houses.

Farm stand signs might be trendy right now, but I grew up seeing them, so they always fill me with nostalgia. So when I found paintable pine planks, I thought I’d try to make one myself.

It took a while, since my only feee time is when our baby is asleep, but I love how it came out!

Here’s the gist of what I did:

  • Select plank shape order
  • Paint and hand-letter the planks
  • Secure twine for hanging

That’s it!

I added one to my Etsy shop if you’d like to purchase!

Here’s how it came out:

(I thought it looked so cute with my hutch decor!)

Now I’m ready to head to the actual farm stand and get some pumpkins and cider! 🍂😉🍁
